Forest Walk with the Peterborough Field Naturalists at Ecology Park
The Peterborough Public Library latest One Book, One Ptbo Community Read features To Speak for the Trees by Diana Beresford-Kroeger.
In honour of the author’s dedication to lifelong learning about trees, they’re hosting a guided walk through the trees at GreenUP Ecology Park on Tuesday, September 23 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Susan Paradisis, president of the Peterborough Field Naturalists, will highlight Ontario’s native tree species and introduce the basics of “bio-blitzing.”
The group will meet at the shelter in the park by 6:30 p.m. If arriving by car, please park at the south end of the Beavermead lot, and walk down the Trans Canada Trail from there.
