Introduction to bike riding + repair
55+ Event!
Curious about getting back on a bike, or wondering if cycling is for you? Join us for a relaxed and welcoming workshop for adults of all experience levels, facilitated by Shifting Gears in partnership with B!KE: the Community Bike Shop. You’ll be introduced to conducting simple pre-ride safety checks, practical tips for riding comfortably and confidently, options for carrying cargo and popular features of common bicycles. No bikes or tools are required- just bring your curiosity and your questions.
Participation is free, and registration is encouraged.
