At the end of 2024 GreenUP made the difficult decision to close its retail store. GreenUP encourages those who frequented the store for its eco-responsible products to carry-on their green practices by continuing to purchase their favourite products at local stores. The following was created by a Trent placement student with a passion for sustainable business practices, and features brands that were carried in the store, why GreenUP used to carry the brand, and a link to where the brand is available for purchase in the Peterborough community (if possible). The retail market is ever evolving and the list is likely incomplete but we hope it helps you to connect with many of the products you may have once found in the GreenUP Store. Ecomum
Ecomum sells cloth midwifery supplies, including cloth diapers. It is a home-based business located in Peterborough, Ontario. Ecomum are an ethical business that prioritizes ecologically responsible practices to create things that last. 1$ from every purchase is donated to the Kwartha women’s shelter.
