Tamarack or Larch

Tamarack , also known as a Larch, is a deciduous conifer. Its needles change from bright green in the summer, to blaze yellow in the fall, before dropping off each winter. Tamaracks grows wild in damp places, but will grow on drier sites if given extra water during times of drought. Needs a sunny location.
