What is Summer Ride Club?

GreenUP’s Summer Ride Club is a summer riding program in Peterborough offering a season filled with exciting biking adventures! Families and kids are invited to join this self-directed club and embark on nine unique “Club Challenges” throughout the summer. Each week, participants are encouraged to complete a new challenge, document their experiences in the Ride Club passport, and explore new cycling destinations.

Who can join Summer Ride Club?

The challenges are designed to be inclusive, allowing people of all ages and skill levels to participate. From pedaling to playgrounds, biking to a beach, or biking to a buddy, each challenge also features a useful aspect of bike riding or a safety tip.

GreenUP is encouraging families to join in on the fun! Some of the destination challenges may require supervision from a trusted adult, but as a self-guided experience, you will know your limits.

How do I join Summer Ride Club?

To join the club, younger participants need assistance from an adult to register their passport, unlocking weekly newsletters, prize draws, and an exclusive invitation to an end-of-summer celebration.

Keep an eye out on GreenUP’s social media channels and Eventbrite page to see how to access your Summer Ride Club passport this year.

What is the Summer Ride Club Passport?

Each week of Summer Ride Club, participants are encouraged to complete a new challenge and document their experiences in the Ride Club passport to explore new cycling destinations.

The Summer Ride Club passport features destination ideas, bike safety tips, and space to record your biking journey like a journal.

To make completing the challenges even more enticing, participants who submit their passports to GreenUP before the summer deadline will have a chance to win awesome prizes!
