A fast-spreading ground cover for damp or shaded locations. An ideal shoreline plant. Produces masses of 5-petalled white blossoms in June.

The latin Anemone comes from Greek and roughly means wind flower, which signifies that the wind that blows the petal open and in time will also blow the dead petals away.
