A host plant for the Monarch butterfly, swamp milkweed has showy pink flowers in late June and early July. Thrives in damp places, but can also tolerate drier gardens. Full sun. Grows to 3-4’ in height.

Water Requirements: Prefers moist damp conditions but will tolerate slightly dryer conditions

Flowers: Tiny clusters of pink-purple flowers June to August
