Gaultheria procumbens


This diminutive ground-covering shrub has thick, glossy evergreen leaves and red berries in fall. Leaves and berries have a minty scent.

Sun Requirements: Prefers partial shade

Water Requirements: Adaptable. Dry to moist soils prefers acidic soils

Flowers: Waxy-white tiny flowers in April/May

Attracts: Small mammals, birds, bees
