Ginkgo biloba


This living relic of the age of the dinosaurs is a very hardy tree that can grow in tough conditions, and can tolerate drought, road salt and compacted soil. It is a slow growing tree with unique fan-shaped leaves. Considered a deciduous conifer (evergreen tree that drops its leaves). Ginkgo is a mid-sized tree growing to 18 m tall.
