Symphoricarpos alba


These low-growing shrubs are extremely drought-tolerant and will grow in shade or sun. Require well-drained soil. Small pink and white blossoms in mid-summer produce white, persistent berries in fall and attract a variety of birds.

Height: 1-4 feet

Sun Requirements: Adaptable full sun to part shade

Water Requirements: Dry to moist well drained soils

Flowers: Small white flowers in May/June

Attracts: Birds, bees squirrels

Special Tolerances: Salt tolerant and an erosion control species
